So now that I know what my purpose in life is, this blog's theme is pretty much settled. As you can see on the blog title above, I'm the Jackie of all trades. Like Jack-of-all-trades, but since I'm a female, I changed it into Jackie. *d'oh* Any of you familiar with that proverb? Jack of all trades, master of none? It basically represents someone who is able to do almost everything, but they're not the best in what they do. That's what I think of myself lately. Well, not exactly in a bad way though! I actually prefer it this way than just being EXTREMELY good at only one thing.

So the history is that I've had a lot of "identities" before. Once I was a pianist, then a novelist, then a gamer (well this, until now), then a cosplayer (believe it or not), then a poet, then a chef/pâtissière. I've done a lot of things, I have lots of hobbies that depends on my mood. The bad thing is that sometimes I just get lost and don't know what to do, but the good thing is - I actually can do almost everything. *cough* not trying to gloat or anything though *cough*. Is it a gift, or a curse, that I am ABLE to do a lot of things?

I sometimes think that it is a curse as well. Like I said before, it's just that I would get lost and just become depressed because I felt like I couldn't be the best in something. I always feel jealous when I see those child prodigies that KNOW what they can do best. I just don't know. I just feel like I can do a lot of things, but I don't really know what to be proud of. Well at least for now I am proud that I'm pretty good in cooking - no one ever complained.

I am actually pretty confident with my cooking and baking skills, almost every attempted recipes so far (except macaroons, which emphasises beauty and appearance instead of taste), has been successful. The appearances...well I've been trying my best to make them look fantastic to take a picture with (check out my Tumblr to see my dishes!) even though I always emphasise on the taste, not the appearance. However, I'm still working out on those damn little macaroons, I swear I'll make them look as awesome as they taste!

Anyways, I have this urge to make a cake right now, but I just don't have any occasions to make the cake for! Boo! I'm done with baking cream puffs and cinnamon rolls or even red velvet cupcakes, I want to make a whole cake, but no one's birthday is coming up...:( heck, do I need a reason to bake a cake? This I want to know.

Okay, enough with the rambling. I'm really supposed to be studying right now and surprise, surprise - my progress is still 0%. Kill me.
